Job Opportunities

During the semester, international students are permitted to work 20 hours per week on campus, with an average pay of $8 to $10 per hour. They can also accept positions as research or teaching assistants, which pay $500–1000 a month. In relevant sectors, they can also take part in paid internships.

They are able to work 40 hours a week when on vacation. Students who successfully complete their study can work for a year (known as optional practical training, or OPT) or 29 months (known as degree-specific OPT). Students who complete OPT can apply for an H1B visa to work.

Graduates of undergraduate or graduate degrees are eligible to apply for one year of optional practical training (OPT) in the United States, where they can work in any field of study. Following graduation from MBA programs, they are eligible to apply for 12 months of OPT, with an additional 24 months available to STEM-certified MBA graduates.


After completing their master's degree, candidates may seek permanent residence in the United States through a number of channels, such as investment and job creation, sponsorship by a U.S. citizen or relative, permanent work offer, asylum application, and designation as a refugee.
